Short but Sweet

Emily told Dan not to leave his shoes in middle of walkway.

Dan went out of town.

Emily saw Dan's shoes in the middle of the walkway *yet again*.

But Emily missed Dan.

She moved his shoes *once more* and smiled at the thought of him returning.

And leaving his shoes in the middle of the walkway.

Oh, Ems - I can relate to every single word in this little diddy.

Traveling hubbys - what would we do without them? Or their return?

So when I saw the title of this, I thought it was going to be about your weekend with Sarah, Jason and the boys. LOL.

Dave doesn't travel as much anymore, but is it too cheesy that I feel this way even when he's just at work for the day?

Sarah- Glad you liked my diddy. :)

Jenni- Haha... That would have been a great title for a post about a weekend with the Sarah, Jason and da boys.

And no, Jenni.... it's not cheesy to feel that way when your hubs goes to work every day. I wave goodbye to my hubs almost every day and think, "I can't wait to be with him again tonight." I realize I borderline on sappy saying that, but it just is.

Great perspective, em...
You certainly invite the warmth with your love.
