And then I get the bug.
This year she wanted to be a chicky.
I was so overjoyed that she didn't want to be a television character or a Dis.ney princess, that I went right to work.
Then I saw that Pot.tery Ba.rn asks, like, $80 for a costume like this. I love making things for a bargain. (hehe)

You go girl, it is awesome...Trevor recently informed us he would like to be a tiger or a lion. How much you charge for those mean skills? Just kidding. Awesome Chicken costume....I think Old Navy was selling something like this too for big bucks! How fun
WOW! That is fantastic. I've seen some of the dresses you've sewn, but this tops the cake. You are a very talented mamma!
Look at you!! WOW!
I am participating in a group outfit this year - care to help? My friends and I are going to be Jem and Holograms...I'll be a Hologram (remember them?)
Good work on Morgan's costume. I'm really impressed.
Jem and the Holograms? Oh, yeah -- I remember them. As I recall, they were truly, truly, truly outrageous...it's fer sure.
Um. I don't think this level of cuteness has ever been acheived in a Halloween costume. You are very preggers and you made this? Ems, YOU ROCK!
DO you think she will model it for us when we come? ;)
I can't believe you just said that Dan! HA HA
Whoa. That. Is. Awesome. Someday Morgan will know the greatness that is Her Momma at the Sewing Machine! For now, we get to enjoy it! She'll be the cutest chick on the block!
You made that??? That's awesome, Emily!
