Psalm 19 Morning

I started the morning wrong. Critical, mostly. I feel yucky.

Then I came downstairs to our family room and felt more critical because my daughter accidentally pulled down my 4 panel curtains yesterday and there they lay. On the floor. More criticism. Disappointment, mostly.

Psalm 19 had something to say about it:

Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from my secret faults.
Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins.
Let them not have dominion over me...

...Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

I'm asking God for a do-over.

My favorite morning prayer... May God answer your heartfelt prayer.

Thanks for this reminder. I love that grace allows instant do-overs for the day.

You, my friend, are encouragement straight to my soul.

Gosh, I wish I opened my Bible on these kinds of mornings. I try to find God everywhere else but there on mornings like that.

Can we have a do-over of last weekend? *sigh*
